I think Andy needs to stop winning sets by 6-0. Otehr than against Martin at AO it seems to make him slip a sloppy game in and give his opponents a "nothing to lose now" attitude.

havent read through, but my feeling is thta winning a 2nd set 6-0 means you have to play at the same level in the 3rd, as soon as andy dropped his level and left Rich hold it changed the dynamic and mometnum, as soon as rich started to hold, i felt he would go onto win. shame i was right.

Interesting point johnnylad and Count. I'm just wondering what you suggest Andy should do as an alternative, if he happens to find himself 5-0 up in a set. Should he go all out to lose the next 4 games in order to keep himself on his toes? It's a tricky one to be sure.
