ATP Paris - R2 - Murray v Nieminen

Yep, the wily Finn beat Juan Mónaco quite comfortably this morning, 4 & 4, but Andy beat him the only time they have met so far, in three sets in the Toronto Masters QF last year, did he not? biggrin

So he did, but Niemenen did reach the final in Basel last week and will therefore be full of confidence. I still expect a Murray win. pray.gif

Im worried about the timing of this match! it needs to be an evening match! When has Andy last won a morning match? or for that matter played well during a morning match? i cant remember!

Yes it's shocking, how dare they schedule his match for such a time biggrin

At least his doubles match today was evidently first on Court 2, at 2 pm Paris time, so he's experienced an earliish start.

I think and hope also that he's a bit more seasoned and professional about early starts than he was earlier in his career.

Is anybody available to do live commentary? I can't get the live scoreboards on the computers at work and I don't know whether the BBC will be doing proper updates :(

I'll be able to post occasionally.

try this link:
http://atplive.enetpulse.com/atp.pop.php
- you need to paste it into your browser address bar, or save it as a favourite, but it should give you live scores.
