Knights needs a very good week to have a chance of getting a direct entry in Australia.

How cool it would be if we had four Brits in the semis! Knights is alive in doubles, too.
His tally will go up by 12.5 points, which is good but his ranking won't go up by more than a few places. Anyways, I think that he has secured a place in the AO. The cut is almost always lower than 120 and he won't go down by that much in a few weeks time.
Knights's ranking will go up by a few places, too, but that won't help much. He'll have to do well at Eddie Herr. Another option would be doing qualies for the G3 in Malaysia that's played next week. He was supposed to play that (had a direct entry, obviously) but later withdrew.
