RE: ATP - St Petersburg Final : Murray v Verdasco

Andy gets his third title, and I MISSED IT ALL!!!!! angered.gif

Totally out of internet reach I got my sister to text me the result and nearly lifted the roof off the coach with my scream of joy!

Really pleased for Andy - his first non San Jose title as well. (I was getting a bit worried about his finals/champion ratio to be honest so it's nice to see him win another.) I'm going to be so gutted for him if he doesn't make Shanghai now after he has been fighting so hard for it. Considering he is even close with the amount of tennis he has missed is a pretty good indication of how good he is, and how unlucky he is not to have already ensured his spot at Shanghai but I'm greedy, and want him there despite all that. Even as an alternate would be good.

OK, let's start a petition to the ATP to have more tournaments in places that begin with Saint, or San!

- seems that's where Andy does all his tournament winning evileye.gif

I vote for San Francisco, San Marino, San Diego, St Nazarre (or even St Etienne footy ground), St Helena for that important South Atlantic audience, we'll get the LTA to organise one in St Hellier, Jersey.....and what about getting Ken Livingstone to rename SW19 "Saint Wimbledon"??

St. Helena would be good as all the wild cards would go to Brits.

nice. St Andrews it has to be!

How's about St Michael's Mount off the Cornish coast? Might be a bit difficult to find a flat bit of land for a court though....

He could finally win a clay court tournament, if they held one in Sao Paulo, in Brazil or San Sebastian in Spain.....
