Andy has broken three times - all of them when I've been making a post. So I think I'll try and do him the favour of typing now at 5-5. I don't have anything in particular to say, but an omen is an omen! Unfortunately now MY has held comfortably, so it's back to the drawing board. Anybody else got any ideas on how we can influence this match?

15-15: dropshot from Y, Andy gets there pokes it dtl but Y flings himself full length to send volley into open court

30-15: dropshot from Andy, bit risky but Y goes wide

40-15: another dropshot, this time much better...more angle and Andy rips bh into open court

40-30: fh return winner

Game: ace out wide

I honestly thought this match was over and Youzhny was going to win at *5-3, then that he'd break at 5-4*...so I'm holding my breath but not smiling until the final point is over....5-1 to Andy in the tiebreak at the moment, but it can all change.

0-4: another bh error into net going dtl...Y hurles racket in disgust

1-4: Y controls the pt, moving M from side to side, ups pace with cross-court bh then wrong-foots M with bh volley

1-5: dropshot from M, Y gets there plays dropshot back....Andy moves quickly to it gets v lucky netcord over Y's head and has easy volley

the scoreboard failed to tell me that it was 6-1 and jumped straight to Andy wins!!!!!

Thank you very much everyone who provided commentary, you can never tell everything from just the scoreboard so I really appreciate being able to read how Andy and Youzhny were playing throughout.

This moves Andy to 14th in the race with no one able to overtake him. He could go as high as 11th by winning tomorrow. not sure what it does in the entry ranking, check out Rob's ranking thread to work that one out.
