Thanks for insight, deacrt. Spencer will be tough, but Willis can beat him.
Cox plays the Serbian wonder kid, Filip Krajinovic-Piskovic. Krajinovic is 22-1 in Juniors this year, including three titles, although they are all smaller tournaments. I have no idea how good he is, but he must be good to dismiss Tomic in straights in the first round. Anyways, Coxy should beat him if he plays well.
Willis V Spencer will be a toughie but Willis is playing good ball & as long as he is taking in enough "good" energy sources should get through this but it gets tougher from there on & he will need this one to be a quickie to really save his energy for later matches but I'm confident he will get through.
Tough losses for Pauffers, Tommo & Smethy but they will bounce back, good for Smethy to qualie for his first G1 & really show he belongs at this level, as he did at Roehampton & Wimby but all 3 boys need a good run of matches under their belt in the run up to or early in 2008 to really push on & turn these sort of results in to the right ones....I believe they can do it with the right schedules but may need to drop down a grade or 2 for a few events.

Tom Hill (GBR) paired with Yifan Dang (Chn) won the Boys U12 Doubles final 9 games to 8. Good to see some success for the boys.
Dan Cox paired with Gastao Ministro Elias (POR) seeded 3 had a W.O. and are into the U18 Boys Doubles Semi-final on Saturday. In fact they have only had to play one match so far to get there !
