I'm worried. Didn't Andy injure himself the last time he played with Jamie?
Monfils has withdrawn from the singles, injured, so will be replaced by a lucky loser. If Andy can get past Tipsy, the rest of his quarter looks reasonable. . .
Looking at the stats it seems to be a servers game. Both teams are on 64% first serves in and both teams have first serve points won %s in the high 70s. The Murray bros are doing slightly worse on the second serve points with only 50% won compared to 63%.
But they are crushing their opponents in the tiebreak so maybe that's about to change! currently 5-0 to the Brits, 6-0 6-1, but now 2 set points on their own serve... 6-2, humph. 7-2 and that's the second set. with an ace, but annoyingly I can't tell who served as it just says ace MUR which could be either of them!
MTB now.

OK so a MTB with the Scottish duo on a roll at 46 76(2)
Garcia/Prieto to serve first and so their scores first *for ABOUT to serve:
0-1* yay! The first minibreak goes the Brits' way either the scoreboard jumped or I simply missed it... *1-3 and now the match has disappeared completely from the scoreboard so haven't a clue what's going on.

7-6 (but the scoreboard said it was an ace to Mur 7-7 DF Mur 8-7 Murray brother, I think that was still on serve and the Ace was by the other team. 9-7 2 match points 9-8 on the Murray serve GSM! 10-8.

There's a mildly interesting/amusing piece about "the bruvs" on the Metz site. Here, for what it's worth, is my translation of it, free, gratis & for nothing:
Two Murrays for the price of one
The Scot, Andy Murray, 20, belongs to that new generation, the young wolves [I'd have preferred to say "Young Turks", but then the rest of the analogy is lost!] who have long teeth & are hungry for success, just like Rafael Nadal & Richard Gasquet.A professional since 2005, the Glasgow-born player is one of the main attractions at the tournament in the [department] of the Moselle, as much for his sturdy [?!!] temperament as for his tennis.Talented, charismatic, even impetuous, the player [currently] ranked 21st in the [2007] ATP [Champions Race] is never at a loss for words & will attempt to follow in the footsteps of another "graduate" of the nursery class on the world circuit, Novak Djokovic, last year's champion. Before he can think about emulating the Serb's performance, Andy Murray will open his singles campaign [with a match] against his [Djokovic's] compatriot & fellow member of the team that [currently] holds the Davis Cup, Janko Tipsarevic.
Andy has not, however, pitched camp on the banks of the Moselle on his own.He arrived with his elder brother, Jimmy [sic], one year his senior.Unlike him, Jamie is concentrating primarily on his career as a doubles player, with varying degrees of success.Nicknamed "Stretch" because of his long arms & because he's always stretching for the ball, his favourite partner is the American, Eric Butorac, with whom he has won three titles. In partnership with Jelena Jankovic, however, he won the 2007 Wimbledon mixed doubles title, which made him the first British player to win a Wimbledon title for 20 years. It's the second time this season that the two brothers have teamed up on the circuit following their semi-final in Doha.Andy & Jamie complement one another perfectly.Andy is right-handed & wears a black baseball cap the right way round, while Jamie is left-handed & wears a white baseball cap back to front.A perfect combination which faces its first test against the Argentine pair of Prieto & García (4-6 7-6 10-8).
* BTW, I see that Andy's first singles match is fifth on the centre court tomorrow, with play in the first kicking off at 10.00 BST...
Thanks for that Stircrazy, could you post the link? (I've been looking on the Metz site and can't seem to find it, which probably means it's right in front of me!)

I would, if I could, but it seems to have vanished into the mists of time! Sorry!
