US Open - Round 2 - Andy Murray vs. Jonas Bjorkman

Well, coming through a 5-setter proves fitness. Match time is probably helpful, even if not for our nerves....

At least in a slam he will get a day's rest to recover.

I really saw flashes of the old Andy, there, especially in the last set. (And of the old rubbish serving in the 4th set lol)

It's always good to see a player win a five setter.

That was a fun match to watch. Some really wonderful points from both players. Andy is slowly starting to look like himself out there. He even served well (at times) but then for old times sake, threw in a few horrible service games in the fourth as well.

If he can defend his points from last season then that would be an amazing result, anything else would be a bonus. I think he's beat Lee a couple of times before hasn't he?

Thanks Drew - I knew they had played, I just couldn't mind when.

Andy made the USO Player of the Day today after the match against Bjorkman.
