Girls: Canadian Open Junior Championships - ITF Grade 1 - 2007.

Jade was in qualies but the draws haven't been updated.

So many things are possible -

1) Someone from the main draw withdrew and she got in.
2) She couldn't make it in time from New Jersey and couldn't play.
3) She qualified.
4) She was tired and managed to lose.

Jade has 11th seed WR 33 Tatiana Bua from Argentina in R2. Jade is down as a qualifier, so came through qualies in some unknown fashion.

Tough game. But she is in good form, so could upset the rankings here. Hope so!

Yes, John, she will play the USO. She'll have to qualify, unless she gets a wild card or an SE.


Next up is world no. 12 Julia Glushko of Israel. She is obviously a good player, but her record on faster surfaces is especially poor for someone ranked so high. Had Jade not been so tired, I would have said that she's the favourite for this one.

I believe that she'll need to win another round to get the SE. Lykina will be tough, but you never know.
