Andy's qualifier is Cuevas. Hopefully with some info from Baker, tactics from Gilbert and no fear with that forehand Andy will make R2....
Cuevas is 21 and ranked 129, (65 in doubles).
Some of his best performances this year have been on American hardcourts but with clay probably his preferred surface, winning 2 challengers in all but 2 semis as well.
Other than that just Roland Garros and Sopot qualies which he failed to get through in.
Andy's match is third on Grandstand Court, after the Davydenko match and a ladies' match. Play starts at 11am, 3pm here; I'm not even going to try to guess what time Andy will be on!
At least it is not in the morning, hopefully he will be awake for the match
Everything coming from the Murray camp is sounding much more positive that it has up to now so hopefully it means Andy is fully fit and raring to go. I see no reason for Cuevas to cause him too many problems and this draw is about as nice as the 19th seed could hope for so this may be the tournament that brings Andy back

Murray to win in straight sets tbh if he's at 100%. Don't see Cuevas causing him too much problems if Andy is playing well.
But ofc Cuevas is on the up and is doing quite well on the Challenger Tour and probably not long before he'll be in ATP Tour tournaments or qualifying for them at least as he has done here.

Andy sounds pretty happy and confident which is a complete turnaround from how he was sounding a few weeks ago. If he's hitting the forehand the way he says he is then I wouldn't expect him to have too much trouble, but we'll see.
It was good to hear that he was playing with Rafa yesterday and they were having a practice set and it went well because, by all accounts, Rafa plays practice very competitively so that would have been a good test for Andy and the fact that he played so well is probably a good sign because you would fancy Rafa would have been able to take advantage of a weak wing.

I'm here - because although I signed up for the Eurosport livestream, I can't get the damn' thing working. I'm not sure if Andy is on there anyway, they are only showing one channel for UK residents.

Wooooooooo, big forehand from Andy. Very encouraging so far!

Leads 3-0* now. His movement looks a lot better today too, he's chasing down lots of balls again which he wasn't doing in 2 previous matches.
