Main draw won't be available until this evening as the sign-in does not close until 4pm.
However, ther are two Brits in the qualifying draw, Lewis Barnes and Ashley Watling, and both have reached the final qualifying round played today with two wins each.
I was going to say ''poor tournament selection'' but there were a few last minute withdrawals and Angus is the top seed, Pauffley the third and Willis the fourth seed!
Angus won 6-2 6-3 Willis won 6-7(8) 6-3 6-4 Watling won v Hempel, ranked 177 2-6 6-4 6-4 Pauffley lost 3-6 6-3 2-6 Barnes won 7-6(9) 7-6(7) Richardson lost 2-6 2-6
Great result for Ashley Watling who only got in as a LL.
Angus beat Fanselow [237] of Germany by 75 63. Willis beat De Greef [515] of Belgium by 64 62. Watling beat Vandenbulcke [254] of Belgium by 63 64. Barnes lost to Papasidero [131] of Italy by 64 62.
Great News!!! Marcus "Meatball" Willis takes the title!!!!!!! Fantastic!!! He & Pauffley are also in the doubles final & fingers crossed Willis can do the double!!! Great week for him again & this will but him inside the top 100 for the first time - around 88 in fact!! So so pleased for him.........Well Done Marcus!!!! Better book some flights to Melbourne for January!!!

Fantastic result for Marcus but will it really take him into the top 100. If he wins(with Pauffley) the doubles he will have improved his points by a net 47.5 points (60-20 singles points and (50 -20)/4 doubles points). Added to Marcus' current 250 points, I make that 297.5 points or 101= on this weeks rankings. If they lose the final this falls to 108.
Goldenslam, am I being stupid and missing something as you are obviously much closer to these intricasies than I am. Despite this little dispute it is clearly only a matter of time until Marcus makes the top 100, whether this week or sometime in the very near future.
I make it that Angus moves up to around 115. They are just queuing up outside the 100.
Robxon - You are correct, my bad !! I just added 60 points to his ranking without taking in to account his lowest points already on his ranking which is 20. Marcus will be on 297.5 as you said & you were correct in saying he would go to 101, although Willis & Pauffley would need to win the dubs too!! Not long before Willis, Angus & Pauffers are all in the top 100 & we have a few players behind them pushing for the top ton too!!!

He'll now need to try seriously hard to miss a direct entry into the AO. In fact he can get to the top 50 by the end of the year if he comes to Asia for a few weeks.
By my calculations, Marcus will crack the top 100 this Tuesday!
I checked the points of all the guys between 85 and 125, and three players drop below 297.5 - Bradley Klahn, the mysterious Benoit Paire and Zalan Klempa. None of them overtake Marcus's total, but Ryan Lipman's total also comes to 297.5.
