I have finally found some results for this tournament (not updated on ITF site yet)..
Alistair Barnes, Carpenter, Smethurst, McCullogh and Knights all won in the second round to take them to the last 16.
In the third round... A. Barnes lost 4-6 7-5 6-4 Carpenter won 6-4 6-3 Smethurst won 7-5 6-4 Knights beat McCullogh 6-3 6-3
In the quarter finals Carpenter beat Smethurst 6-4 6-3 Knights lost. No score given
In the semi-final Carpenter beat Alexander Folie (1) 6-4 6-4
In the final Jack plays Alexander Rumyantsev (Rus)(9).
Looks like it is going to be another good week for Jack, given that he is only playing because he got a wild card into the qualies. So he has already played 8 matches and only dropped one set... in QR2!!
Jack is skipping the Nationals or didn't get the wild card, so he probably has the next week off. There is a G3 in Portugal, but it doesn't have SEs and it wasn't possible for him to play qualies. I hope that he asked for a wild card and got one.
Can't wait to see him and Marsalek in Futures qualies. Hopefully they'll do a few this autumn.
A great week for Jack again but unfortunately he ran out of steam in the final against Rumyantsev & lost 6-2 3-6 6-1, all credit to him for taking it to 3 as Rumyantsev played off his head & was hitting the lines for fun, whilst Jack was not constructing the points as he had been earlier in the week & was going for more than he would have liked, due to physical & mental fatigue. Next week Jack is due to play a G4 in Holland but as he played 12 matches this week (he had to pre-qualie & qualie) he may take this week off & get ready for 16's Nationals next week. Knights & Smethurst won the doubles 6-7 6-3 6-2 so not a bad week for the Brits again. Jack should rise to 360, Knights 220 & Smethurst 270?
