I would love to see Sarge win, she is so underrated it is untrue but she has the sweetest of touches & a lovely backhand, I think her physical side can let her down at times but once she is given a chance she will be trained in to shape. Of all the GB girls she is the only one I see having a doubles career to fall back on purely for her hands & volleying ability. Go Amy

saw tara at wimbledon and being the first i've seen of her was amazed that she is so highly thought of. Wrong size/shape to start with and also the attiude if the girl, if it was my child, would have had me dragging her off court. Got talent but unless she starts working harder then that's all she will have. Can't believe a player can go through Boli's like that, but then that begs the question, how rated was she out there, and do they ever turn anyone away anyway?
She must have been quite well thought of, you don't win Eddie Herr under 12 for nothing. I'm sure i've seen a picture of Tara from when she won Eddie Herr and she seemed a tall skinny 12 year old then. Not saying shes fat now just that shes stocky.
It would be such a shame if she didn't fulfill her potential because of a lack of work ethic. She is coming to the time now when the hard work is going to be needed.
It's ridiculous that Gabb isn't seeded after her great performances in the ITFs. Aren't we supposed to encourage youngsters to play more and more internationally?
Rae vs Broady should be interesting both over 6feet.
I saw Amy Askew in the Bolton tour event at the start of the year. I thought she was about 16/17. Was delighted to find out she was only 13/14, she looks like a great player in the making, goes for her shots. At the moment she sometimes doesn't time the ball properly and the ball flies out but its a learning curve.
