As I have become more interested (and informed (thanks Arka)) in the Junior events, I thought I would have a play with the rankings to try and understand the total picture.
Something Goldenslam said about having 10 players in the top 100 next year being a leadership target made me have a look at that situation. Once the '89s are removed, we have 6 lads in the top 100 led by Dan Evans at 9 and Dan Cox at 21. Also in the top 100 are Angus, Pauffley, Willis and James. There are 7 more below 200.
What happens if we then remove the '90s? Jack Carpenter and James Marsalek head the Brits at 76 and 85 respectively and are the only Brits in the top 100. There are three more British players ranked below 200.
By removing the '91s, Jack and James move up to 17 and 20 respectively.
There are 10 British players, who have gained ranking points, without DOBs on the system. With that proviso, there are currently no '93 born Brits with ranking points.
