Dammit, we need Tipsarevic to beat Robredo for Andy's sake.
Could we possibly arrange for them both to collide and damage each other, not too badly, but enough to withdraw giving their next opponents a walkover?
Madeline, that sounds like an excellent plan. we can certainly try to make it come true
What if...
...Tim were to lose in round 1? He has 620 points. He has been overtaken by: Simon, Starace, He could be overtaken by: Herandez(rd3), Monfils(rd3), Vliegen(rd3), Tipsarevic(rd3). Llodra(rd4). Andreev(qf), Patience(qf), Hajek(qf), Brzezicki(qf), Roger-Vasselin(qf). So it's looking better than it was. Best case: 55 Worst case: 63
An important day today as Tim could lose 4 threats or 4 places. get those pins working!

It's no longer Jonas "Can't play singles on Clay" Bjorkman but rather Jonas "us oldies have to help each other out, plus Madeline left my opponent looking like a pin cushion" Bjorkman. You see the difference?
Andreev just reached the fourth round though
And Patience is more than holding his own against Djokovic.

I've made a mistake (of the good kind), I hadn't realised that Benneteau drops below Tim in the rankings so he is actually sitting at 54 right now and his worst case is 55 if Andreev wins today. (go Djokovic!!)
