Detailed results to be found here

BT players made the biggest move today with Steven and David Carter both gaining 14 and Grundon and Count both losing 13 places.

AM took back the lead and opened up quite a sizeable gap of 1.39 (it was nearly 2 at one point so it's not all bad at the end of the day!)

AndyMurray.com lead BritishTennis.net by an average of 78.71-77.32 points per team member after 94 matches.

Rob, I always just copy and paste from excel...sometimes the formatting works sometimes it doesn't no idea what makes the difference!!

Thanks for doing all that today, Bethan, I haven't been around much, which seems to have helped my picks to perform. smile]

Unfortunately, I can only get max. 6 QF-ists while sheddie can apparently still get all 8, but it's looking good for me and us if Fed can manage to lift the Coupe des Mousquetaires for the first time on Sunday week.

If Rafa wins, we're dead as a team, but sheddie and others will still have a good chance in the individual.

Bethan - I've just realised the answer to the table formatting mystery.

If you copy the summary table from Excel and paste it straight into here, you get a properly formatted table, but you are limited to only pasting the top dozen or so because the hidden html code it produces is huge.

If you first paste the table into AM.com (which converts it into plan text) then copy it from there and paste it into here, you get the unformatted table but you can paste all of it.

Btw, it's looking like when Ewan Mansley registered as an individual because he was a newbie on AM.com and didn't know if he could claim to represent them, we shouldn't have given him the option wink

From yesterday's picks analysis, it always looked like being a good day for AM.com (with more potential for big swings and some matches that could only swing to AM), and so it turned out. In fact, 5/6th of AM.com's lead comes from the bottom half of the draw and just 1/6th from the top half, which is much more even.

This means that in the top half of R3, BT members have almost as many players left as AM members do and, as you can see from the top half picks analysis below, BT have more players left who they predicted to not only reach R3 but go on to R4 too. So, on balance, BT have good chances to close the gap on Friday. biggrin

As yesterday, the swing figures mean "this would be the swing if the player mentioned in this line wins".

First of all, the two bottom half R2 matches held over from Thursday:

Paul-Henri Mathieu : 0.20 to BT
Gilles Simon : 0.39 to AM

Nicolas Massu : 0.23 to AM
Igor Andreev : 0.03 to BT

Massu-Andreev are 1 set all, while Mathieu-Simon didn't even manage to start - they are first on Lenglen on Friday.

Now the top half R3 matches, in a bit more detail than the R2 matches:

(1) Roger Federer : no swing
Potito Starace : no swing

We all picked Fed for this one.

(17) Juan Carlos Ferrero : 0.16 swing to BT
(13) Mikhail Youzhny : 0.16 swing to AM

We all picked one or other of these two to reach R4.

(9) Tommy Robredo : 0.33 swing to BT
Janko Tipsarevic : no swing

All of the BTs picked Robredo as did most of the AMs, but Richard & Claire Morris (AM) went for Safin.

(29) Filippo Volandri : 1.36 swing to BT
(7) Ivan Ljubicic : 1.24 swing to AM

This is the big match on Friday as far as the team comp is concerned. Most people went for one of these two. Count Zero (BT) went for Ram-Hid, while Speedy & Wendy (AM) went for Clément. Thank goodness sheddie didn't make a bet with you in the end, eh Count? ashamed

(4) Nikolay Davydenko : 1.12 swing to BT
Michael Llodra : no swing

Most people went for the Undertaker, but Dusty (BT) and 8 AMs went for Almagro - they include the top two as at the end of Thursday, so they (and the AMs in general) should be hoping Llodra wins, otherwise we are likely to get a new individual leader after this match unless Monfils has beaten Nalby before that.

Gael Monfils : 0.37 swing to AM
(15) David Nalbandian : 0.55 swing to BT

Most people went for Chela here, so those who went for Monfils (Johnnylad, Rochelle & Imoen (BT) and Ewan Mansley, RoastLamb, Kels, Xenon, Fitz & JambonDuSoleil (AM)) will gain on a lot of people if he wins and those who went for Numpty Nalby (FD, Bruce, Drew, John & Dusty (BT) and kayce, Speedy & Granny (AM)) will gain on a lot of people if he wins. The only pick outside those three was Santoro, picked by Daisy.

Kristof Vliegen : no swing
(19) Guillermo Canas : 0.82 swing to BT

10 BTs & 9 AMs went for Canas. The rest, i.e. 8 BTs & 15 AMs, went for Dammit.

Juan Monaco : 0.46 swing to BT
(WC) Edouard Roger-Vasselin : no swing

Mkkreuk, Josh (BT) & Imoen (BT) and Roastlamb (AM) will be hoping for a Monaco win. Everyone else picked Gonzo for this one, except Shaun (AM), who went for Melzer.

So, 4 of the 8 top half R3 matches can only result in swings to BT (or none at all), with the swings to BT if Kolya and Canas win together being enough to wipe out AM.com's lead. No swing is possible in the Fed match, a small swing either way is available in the JCF-Youzhny match, a medium swing either way in the Nalby-Monfils match and a big swing either way in the Volandri-Ljubo match.

If all the matches go BT's way, we would lead by 3.64 at the end of Friday. If all the matches went AM's way, they would lead by 3.78 at the end of Friday. The average of those two possibilities would be for the gap at the end of Friday to be very small again!

Five results so far today and BT have cut AM's lead, but only slightly - it's now just under one point per entrant:

AndyMurray.com lead BritishTennis.net by an average of 85.54-84.68 points per team member after 99 matches.

Youzhny beating JCF caused the biggest changes in the individual table. The top three have pulled away a bit, but it's amazingly close behind them, with only 2 points (half a pick in this round) and a few tiebreaks covering 4th-15th! Guy, Fitz, Josh, ASE & Imoen are all up 10 or more places on the day.

Oh, Mkkreuk Tiebreaks are sorted by points scored in the first round, if they're equal then in the second round and so on until a difference is found smile.gif
