excellent teamwork I think. There's no lack of communication.
Maybe me just being stupid, as I actually posted after you on AM.com!
Anyway, 9 more matches finished, results coming in very fast, and it's good news for BT and AllyB (AM), who now lead the competitions and bad news for Granny, who has got just 4 of the last 8 to add to her 15 in a row (a record) - she's still 2nd though!
BritishTennis.net lead AndyMurray.com by an average of 16.68-16.21 points per team member after 23 matches.
It's also good news for ASE (AM) and FD (BT), who have charged up the table since the last update, with 6 and 7 of the last 8 correct respectively and now both 7=.

After 32 matches, sheddie was joint top, so I couldn't do a web update then, could I? The real reason I waited was because another three matches looked likely to finish shortly afterwards and given how long it takes to do anything on freewebs, I didn't want the web update to be out of date before it even got to the site.
Unfortunately, calamity (sheddie in 1=) quickly turned to catastrophe - match 33 saw BT's lead cut to 0.04 and match 34 (Patience's win) saw AM.com regain the lead and sheddie got top on his own. Match 35 (Baggy's win) cut the gap back to 0.05. So:
AndyMurray.com lead BritishTennis.net by an average of 25.79-25.74 points per team member after 35 matches.

Summary
There were no less than 6 retirements today, three of them in consecutive matches in the draw!
Out of the 17 matches that all 43 of us agreed on:
- we got 10 right - there are 3 unfinished matches in which the player we all went for is leading - we got 3 wrong - Berlocq (the guy Bloomers thrashed in R1 at Wimby last year) upset Benneteau - Count Duckula upset Gonzo - Ulihrach upset Hrbaty - there is 1 unfinished match in which the player we all went for is losing - Berdych is 2 sets down against Garcia Lopez
AM.com 'won' 28 matches to BT.net's 15, with 14 tied and 7 still to finish. The reason AM.com's lead in the team competition isn't even bigger is that, as usual in R1s, BT.net tended to get the better of the matches in which the biggest swings were at stake.
Roll on R2 ...

Yep, i was another who thought he'd win. Was looking a bit dodgy for a while but the home crowd brought him through...now he just has to lose to Djokovic (who has to get there too) in rd2 and I'll be very thankful to him

The last few matches in R1 were good to us and amazingly, we gained enough to win the round by just 0.04 points per player - that's just under 1 single player pick in total across all 64 matches!
R1: Bt beat AM by 43.00-42.96!
However, AM.com are ahead in R2 so far by 2.17-2.00, thanks to Shaun & Xenon picking Tipsy to beat Safin, so overall:
AndyMurray.com lead BritishTennis.net by an average of 45.13-45.00 points per team member after 66 matches.
The gap at the top has closed to 1 point again today too.

After 68 matches, both teams had got exactly 47.00 picks correct per entrant, but one more of the 1128 correct picks the AMs had made between them was a R2 pick and one more of the BTs correct picks was a R1 pick, so AM.com led by 0.04.
Then Monaco beat Melzer to give us the lead back:
BritishTennis.net lead AndyMurray.com by an average of 52.89-52.79 points per team member after 72 matches.
Ally is still holding onto her lead, while AM newbie Ewan is making a very impressive showing on his debut (to think he wasn't sure if they'd let him be in theirr team!), while quite a few of BT's 'big hitters', as sheddie would say, are pilling up up 2 or 3 points behind ready to strike.

Btw, ranks are now based on the higher R1 score (= the official tiebreak) where overall scores are level. e.g. Kayce is shown as 10th to goldfish's 11th despite them both having 55 points, because Kayce had the higher R1 score.

You meant on the right side of the divide (I'm guessing you changed the board name but not the 'wrong'). but just to show how tight it is, Spraggz was the only person on either team to pick Llodra to reach R3 (he beat Almagro) and that's been enough to give them the lead again.
The team lead doesn't usually change hands quite this often!
