Apologies to those who weren't able to enter their nationalities - a bit of Excel or freewebs weirdness (I'm not sure which!) where the sheet I saved on my computer let you put the nationality in but by the time it had been uploaded to freewebs, it didn't. I re-saved my sheet, uploaded it again and this time downloaded the file I had uploaded just to make absolutely sure it worked and now it seems to work fine. No, I don't unnderstand either!
No need to re-download if you have already sent the sheet to Bethan or filled in most of it. Unprotecting in order just to make it accept your nationality selection is fine, or you can mention what your nationality is in the email you send to Bethan. Otherwise, I'll check against your nationality last time and use that.
Anyway, the version on the site has now been corrected - if you still haven't entered, please download it from http://www.britishtennis.net/pec.htm and remember to send it to Bethan before 7 in the morning UK time on Sunday.
Anyone who fancies a sneak preview of the kind of web-based (i.e. Excel-free) entry form we might be using for Wimby can have a look at http://www.britishtennis.net/2007rgef.htm - you can already fill in and submit the form if you want to give it a proper test (please comment here if you do) but you can't use it as a substitute for sending Bethan the Excel entry sheet for this competition because the output the new web page submits can't be pasted into Excel (yet)

Thanks to all who entered. We have 21 AM participants (but there will be one more i just haven't put them in the master yet) and 18 BTs and 1 individual.
24 players have gone for a Rafa win 13 for a Fed party other winners are Henman, Djokovic, and Gonzalez.
This could be pivotal as the BTs are pretty evenly split but the AMs have favoured Rafa.
Breakdowns of todays matches coming almost immediately

Apart from poor Daisy (AM), who made the usually sensible decision not to trust mad Marat further than she could throw him, it is currently just in team order (BT.net first) and then in the order each entry was added within each team.
The table isn't very exciting yet, with just one match completed, but it does show you who entered and which players people picked as their tournament winners.

The main directory on BT.net has been getting a bit clogged up with pick 'em-related files and the Competitions page has been getting a bit long as more and more links to past results get added, so I have made a couple of changes today which will make it easier to add pick 'em results in the future, and hopefully easier for those working on the main BT.net site to find any files they need!
1) I have moved all the pick 'em-specific stuff into its own directory, 07pickem - for example the Roland Garros pick 'em results are now at http://www.britishtennis.net/07pickem/2007rg.htm - so if you have bookmarked the RG pick 'em results page, you'll need to change it slightly. The main BT.net competitions page itself has not moved.
2) Instead of linking to past results (and showing each past winner) from the main Competitions page, there will now just be a link to the latest competition (i.e. results so far or entry sheet) and a link to a new 'HALL OF FAME' page at http://www.britishtennis.net/07pickem/hallfame.htm.
The hall of fame shows the top three players in all past pick 'em competitions (*), the team result (if there was a team competition), how much the top robot scored for comparison and a link to the detailed results for each competition - just click on the year at the left-hand end of each set of results for those.
Enjoy - especially if you've been in a top three!
There is also a list of the remaining tournaments this year that we are intending to run pick 'ems for - i.e. all GS & AMS events except Cincy (which is the week after Montréal, so will be missed out for the same reason as Hamburg) and the Masters Cup, which is a different format, so the system won't work for it.
If we manage to continue like this, it will mean the pick 'em addicts get a competition about every 3 weeks between March and October plus the AO in January.
I'm still intending to publicise the Wimby pick 'em a lot more widely, but only if I can get the new entry system working well and if I have time to change the results sheets to cope with a possible large influx of new entrants. At the moment, if we got lots more entrants using the one complete sheet per entrant system, it might slow Excel down to a dead stop, so (And this means YOU, birthday boy!) please don't start advertising the Wimby comp more widely until I give the go-ahead, otherwise Bethan and I will go on strike.
(*) including, halfway down the page, non-team comps that won't count towards the rankings, so that those who did well in them aren't 'forgotten'. I can't find any BT-only pick ems earlier than last year's USO, so if you know of any, please point me to where I can find the results.

erm steven....I know u want count to beat me but changing my actual picks is a bit much u know, lol.....
I've checked the spreadsheet I sent to Bethan and I should have 3/3 today...I picked Safin, Starace and Tipsarevic....plus I have Nadal to win not Federer
We had two entries from DavidC's, both representing BT - the DavidC on this board (i.e. not you) and the DavidC on AM.com (i.e. you), so we changed you to sheddie. I can change you to David Cox if you want (since that's what you were on as when you finished in the top three once)
You didn't get any wrong, he did.
No doubt the AM.commers are already wondering why we've let you enter twice ... the question is, will the other DavidC let us use his full surname too, just to avoid confusion?
Edit: Of course, we should have docked you 10 points for registering as if you were from Equatorial Guinea, but it's your birthday, so Bethan told me I had to be nice to you.

Hey Grundon, I understand that Steven got in touch with you earlier and has been sorting it all out for you, that's why I've not replied, I'm not ignoring you!

OK, Bruce and Grundon are now in, as is ASE on the AM team.
Unfortunately Bruce was the only entrant to get two of his RG picks wrong on Sunday, whereas using the positions of the 1's from his Rome sheet, he'd been shown as getting them all correct so our average has dropped another 0.10 points back. Still, at least that proves conclusively that Bruce didn't cheat!
So, the at the end of day 1, AndyMurray.com lead BritishTennis.net by an average of 2.92-2.68 points per team member after 3 matches.
