Nine days in and it looks like its going to take two massive shocks for Online Tennis Communities to lose the lead of the Mini League competition as they lead by 120.3 points. In fact only one of the overall top ten is not a member, full or honorary, of the OTC mine league, such is the dominance.

In the individual standings, cazzas team continues to lead, with Mkkreuk back into second place, but 105 points behind. Can she be overhauled?

Edit: vaidisova and kuznetsova bost lost, only earning me 15 points between them and so Fed will probably have to win RG for me to win.

As Federer's lost a set, you (and I for that matter) have lost ten points for a straight sets win, so can only hope for the five bonus points for making the semis.

I'm guaranteed at least one finallist in the women's draw with Henin, Jankovic and Ivanovic getting through biggrin

can i make a suggesstion?

Next time round (wimbledon) i think the scoring should be changed so that a straight sets victory for MEN should be awarded 15 bonus points. The reason for this is that its harder to win 3 consecutive sets than two (i.e. the women)

Otherwise i think this competition has been very enjoyable (and distracting

!)

Only a Devon Loch style collapse is starting to look like the only way Online Tennis Communities can be caught as were now down to the final eight matches of the tournament. The lead to second placed Tennis For Free has stretched to 148.3 points, with the one man team of Flajsner a further 7.6 behind them.

In the individual standings, cazzas teams lead has been slashed by Mkkreuks Elite. The gap now is 41 points, with Johnnylad BT lurking with intent in third place.

Surprisingly Im guaranteed one finalist in the womens draw as I still have Henin, Jankovic and Ivanovic remaining. I might strike lucky, too in the mens as I have Federer through to the semis with Djokovic and the fake lefty playing their quarter finals tomorrow.

Online Tennis Communities lead has been cut, but only marginally, by Flajsner Group, who has leapfrogged Tennis For Free into second place. The gap is still a massive 141.3 points between the top two, and it would still take a massive shock for OTC to be overhauled as we have ten of the top 11 places.

After having had her lead cut yesterday, cazzas team has recovered and extended her lead once again, and leads Johnnylad BT, who overtakes Mkkreuks Elite, by 85 points. Mkkreuk is now third, five points behind Johnnylad, with ClayCrazy (GR) a further ten behind in fourth.

The gap between the top two mini leagues looks unlikely to be overturned as Online Tennis Communities holds a 148.8 point lead over Flajsner Group. With six matches to go, and most of OTCs members having at least one mens semi-finalist and one womens finalist, its looking like the imaginary crown will belong to the message boards!

Once again cazzas teams lead was cut and she now leads Johnnylad BT by 53 points as we head into the final four matches over the tournament. But Johnnylad has three of tomorrows semi-finalists and both womens finalists, whereas cazza has Nadal and Djokovic - who play each other tomorrow and Henin, it looks like she will need to have the winners of both draws to have any hope of keeping spot.

I suppose, on a personal level, I shouldnt really mention being miles ahead of hawks heroes and Jessys Giants. So I wont!

I did ask for it to happen, but was told no, sorry. They decided to change it so as not to cause confusion when it comes to the prizes at the end of Wimbledon.

The gap between the top two mini leagues still looks unlikely to be overturned despite Online Tennis Communities lead is now down to 133.7 points lead over Flajsner Group. With just two matches to go, and most, if not all, of OTCs members having at least finalist in both draws, our average should be enough to beat the one man team. Our long-time rivals, TFF, are now an amazing 200.7 points behind us. Theyre bound to be after revenge for Wimbledon as my bosses are likely to keep telling me in Liverpool on Wednesday!

Once again cazzas teams lead was cut and she now leads Johnnylad BT by 36 points as we head into the finals weekend. As both players have Henin and Nadal, Johnnylad will be hoping for Ivanovic to win in straight sets tomorrow to have any hope of passing cazza.

One time leader mkkreuk would have fallen into fourth place had it not been decided to have the overall tables separate for the over 18s and under 18s. This was made so as not to confuse the overall standings at the end of Wimbledon when it comes to awarding the prizes. But, on the plus side, mkkreuk goes into Wimbledon as the under 18s champion as there is no way he can be caught!

Ill post details of the Wimbledon competition and mini league settings over the weekend. You have been warned!!

Its now safe to say that OTC takes the mini-leagues bragging rights as Flajsner Group couldnt make any significant inroads into our lead, and there is no way a one man team can overturn a 131.5 point lead, especially as several of us have both finalists for tomorrow.

The only way now that cazzas team can be passed is if Federer wins tomorrow without dropping a set to take the maximum 25 bonus points and earn Clay Crazy, the only team able to pass cazza, the title at the death. As soon as Nadal gets one, cazza takes the plaudits going into Wimbledon.
