Dan C isn't doing this.

They never mailed me back with the names of the players who will play. Does it take much effort to simply write down 16 names and send it to someone?? furious.gif

They never answer my mails. Last time I sent them an abusive one (just caustic, not offensive) over giving LaLo a wild card but they didn't reply. cry.gif

lol, the guys at Queens are just plain tossers....they've never answered any of my emails sent over the past 4 years...I got really pissed off last year and actually rang them up for the wc info, got that Jolyn Armstrong geezer who sounds like Prince Charles and effectively told me to sod off....

Send Luke Milligan an email (luke.milligan@lta.org.uk), he should be able to tell you

Luke supplies info regularly for britishtennis.net on gb tournaments, he's a really nice guy so likely to be helpful....also he works closely with a lot of our juniors so may have some info

I think Lee Childs has won Queens jnrs-and I saw Jarkko Niemenen win it a few years back.Marcus Willis isn't likely to play-he's still doing his GCSE's.No ITF points available so not many of the juniors will be interested!

Yeah, Childs won it in 2000.

Poor Marcus isn't playing much this season due to his GCSEs by the look of it. cry.gif Just nine tournaments till now!

Katie, do you know if he'll play full time like Cox and Evans after his exams? He said that he'll play two tournaments in South Africa in July.

Yeah full time at Bisham with Neil Pauffley. He's not doing South Africa now,his coach says he wants him to stay in Europe for the time being.Guess it depends on how Roehampton and Wimbledon go.He's got a wildcard for Roehampton I believe.

Nothing on the site, I think.

It probably starts tomorrow, so let's hope that they'll put up the draw later today.

Well, they haven't posted the draw but some of the matches are there on the OOP.

Good luck to Thornley against Ignatik/Ignatic (they keep changing the spelling).

Will there be Livescores?

Tomorrows matchs: (from the oop)

V. Ignatic (BLR) vs S. Thornley (GBR)
G. Elias (POR) vs R. Berankis (LTU)
H-Y. Peng (TPE) vs J-P. Smith (AUS)
L. Ramiaramanan (RSA) vs G. Dimitrov (BUL)

I have no idea what happens next but it looks like a strong line up. Ignatic just won a junior grand slam, Elias and Berankis have made a good start on pro tennis.

Good luck to Sean Thornley.

1 Brit in the first 8. Hope there's more in the other half...

Only two Brits entered this....Graeme Dyce and Sean Thornley

In rd1 yesterday, Elias beat Dyce 3 and 0...which was kinda expected tho as Elias made a futures semi earlier this year (I think)

However, Thornley beat the Brazilian 7th seed in straights...great result

hmm, can Thornley continue the tradition of a Brit winning this then? he lost the first set 46 but has just had a set point on Iganatic's serve at 5-1 second set.
