looks bad, to be honest he shouldn't have contiuned, you cant run off a wrist injury, could be really serious, there is notpoitn risking it for 1 match.

that was such bad luck, Andy was playing really impressive stuff...high quality clay-court tennis...completely outplaying Volandri who was spraying errors all over the court. Would have been something like a 1 and 3 win for Andy

The injury came during the cross-court fh exchange on the 2nd pt of the last game...no sign of anything before then. Quite worrying stuff especially as Andy said something was moving around inside the wrist....any ideas what it could have been ??

Guess all will be revealed by a scan later...lets hope he'll be ok for RG tho from the sound of things it could be unlikely

Brad just couldn't believe what was happening

thats its such a shame! cry.gif i was watching at 3-0 Ad-40 to Volandri, then he played that outrageous dropshot. i hope the wrist is not as bad as we think it is since he spotted it early in the match, had he gone on playing it would have been worse. But if the scan shows it serious, then he'll probably be out at least 3 months, same as Clijsters when she has her wrist injured.cry.gif

Really a huge shame. Sadly for whatever reason he is just too injury prone to push into the top 10 and achieve his potential at the moment. Hopefully it's just a phase but sadly some players do have body's that are more prone to injury. What with his ankle and his back this is the last thing he needed.

and things were all looking so exciting for the grass season this year cry.gif If Murray has to miss Wimbledon too, lets hope that Tim can roll back the years and give us something to cheer about...who knows, with a decent draw maybe and on grass he could still upset some of the world's top 15. I think 2005 was the last time when all British interest was over before the first Saturday

Andy had been looking so promisingly injury-free this year before IW...I think that the recent spate of injuries have all come from that fall against Haas. Dunno what's sparked this wrist injury tho, that is worrying
