At grade 5 level she should be winning these events now if shes going to fulfill her potential.

Yeah, she can surely beat players of that ranking. But facing a top seed early on is always tough. Hopefully there'll be an upset.

Yeah, and she has a lesser chance of beating her than she had of beating the top seed. Anghelescu beat Tammy Hendler a few months ago. omfg.gif

Heather won by 4 and 3. I am surprised that she was troubled so much as her opponent was born in 1994. Dobbins lost to the fourth seeded Mohana Chintala by 62 36 62. cry.gif

Heather now faces sixteenth seed Yuliana Motyl of Canada. They probably know each other's game very well since they are at the same year at IMG.
