Monte Carlo Pick 'Em. Scores and Analysis

Well here it is after 4 matches.

AndyMurray.com lead BritishTennis.net by an average of 2.67-2.61 points per team member after 4 matches.

Bad news for us On the bright side we have 3 of the top 4.

POS. PLAYER    TEAM   TODAY    TOTAL    %
     1Imoen    BT      4     4100.0%
     1Josh    BT      4     4100.0%
     1WallaceEMann    BT      4     4100.0%
     1murraymaniac    AM      4     4100.0%

Personally I'm in shock that I'm one of them!

Just some info to spice up the competition,

we have decided the winner will come from one of three players, Federer (11), Nadal (24) and Murray (7).

Any questions ask and either I or Steven will answer.

My goodness you're fast, I hadn't even noticed you'd set up this thread!

You might like to change the link to the bt.net thread on the Setup tab to go to this thread not the old one.

Well done to you

Well Here it is. I am officially better at this than Sheddie who made a mess of it last time (though goodness only knows how Stevens instructions were exceptional and I understood them all even though I've never done this before). Sorry, David I can't resist teasing and rest assured you're still infinitely more advanced that me in the art of website making.

Analysis after Boggo wins (I say here as I did on AM.com, if Boggo loses I'm going straight to bed in a huff)

Sorry Rob, that is annoying.

Analysis:

Well after 4 matches there's not all that much to say! I'm in the lead, but we won't dwell on that

Am.com lead BT.net for the simple reason that more of them got 3/4 than us. 66.6% of AMers got either 3 or 4 right whereas only 44% of us did. Hence, they're in the lead.

Roberta (the robot who chooses the higher ranked player for those who've forgotten) has a score of 2 at the moment so more than half of us (62%) correctly realised that not all the matches were going to go with ranking. The two that didn't being Safin/Nieminen and Lee/Bjorkman.

Well that's about it, they'll be more to say tomorrow when more matches have been played and positions have changed. Good luck everyone and come on BT.net we need to take back the lead!

I'm seriously tempted to do an update now as I'm individual top at the moment (by 1 point). I want to savour it while it lasts!

Luzzi needs to calm down. I've got Nalby in QF's

I was wondering if you'd noticed wink - you'd still be top on your own had Mayer not contrived to lose the last 5 games from 5-2 up in the final set. furiousfurious

When I last looked, numpty Nalby ("I don't start playing until I'm a couple of breaks down") was 0-4 down against Luzzi now (as predicted by someone when they noticed that all 42 of us had gone for big Dave to win) but he's clawing his way.

It's probably worth pasting in the team scores line and who's top as often as you want, btw. Especially when you're on top! biggrin

stupid Mayer And Nalby is doing his usual thing of being muppet, I'm seriously wondering why I chose him now!

OK, update on the team scores:

AndyMurray.com lead BritishTennis.net by an average of 3.79-3.72 points per team member after 7 matches.

so they've actually extended their lead by 0.01 points after 7 matches

And those sharing the top spot:
POS. PLAYER    TEAM   TODAY    TOTAL    %
     1Imoen    BT      1     571.4%
     1Josh    BT      1     571.4%
     1WallaceEMann    BT      1     571.4%
     1Goldfish    BT      2     571.4%
     1Johnnylad    BT      2     571.4%
     1Guy    BT      2     571.4%
     1Rochelle    BT      2     571.4%
     1Vimto    AM      2     571.4%
     1Vamos08    AM      2     571.4%
     1silk    AM      2     571.4%
     1Chrissi    AM      2     571.4%
     1Claire Morris    AM      2     571.4%

At the moment Roberta is nosediving down the table with 0 from 3 today.
