One of the themes of this fantastic start to 2007 for Andy has been his fast starts in matches, he's almost always taken an early lead and really taken charge right from the word go, stamping his authority on these lower ranked opponents...impressive stuff
I have to say I can't help being a little frustrated that Djokovic's draw has broken quite nicely again for him, meaning Andy is going to struggle to close the gap on him this tournament. Blake and Hrbaty have lost in Novak's section, so he now has to defeat Llodra to make R4. Safin is a potential R4 opponent for him but Safin is not the Safin of old these days - he's never made it all the way back. Djokovic could probably get past him to make his QF date with Nadal.
Andy meanwhile, though now not having to face Hewitt, still has Gonzalez in his path to the QFs and there is likely to meet Roddick.
