He must be desperate to stop Nole getting into the top 10 before him (especially when Andy's done all the hard work this week and Nole's had all the hard work done for him), so maybe he's just hoping that if he stays out there long enough, Djokovic will find a way to injure himself ...

Nole wins the set 6-2. Not great from Andy, his footwork is definitely dodgy and he's not executing his shots right. He's had opportunities but he keeps dumping the ball wide when he has a chance to win the point.
It's a real shame that this is happening but hopefully he can come out and hold in the second set and just work his way back into it. Remember - he was giving Nole a beating in Madrid and lost so hopefully it will work in reverse this time. If anything I just hope he can make this set a bit more competitive.
Andy raised his level at the start of the game and he took it to deuce which is an improvement but to little to late. Djok closed it out with two big serves, he is playing very well just now and Andy is going to have to play much more aggresively or this will be over fast.
0-40 down. Gah!!! I almost wish he had given the w/o so as not to give the haters something to bash him with. 15-40 30-40 - great point from both players eventually won by a brilliant shot from Andy. Game Nole. :(
Some great points in that game, excellent play from both players. However, it is tough to get the ball past Djok and Andy cannot stem the flow of errors from his racket.
