Panda, you do realise that by September this thread will be well and truly buried in the depths of the board?

I don't know what anybody else thinks about the search facility on here, but several times I have searched to see if there is a tournament thread, couldn't find one and started another, when there was one all the time.

So don't get offended if a new one is started when the entry lists come out. . .

The Search facility is terrible (hardly a shock as Activeboard is rubbish).

We could have a sticked schedule for Andy. All the tournament threads could be linked to that.

How can you say that !    Personally I think the search facility is quite good, you will be able to find this thread on there if you look through.

I like the idea about the stickied schedule for Andy

Come on! Activeboard gets 2 out of 10 in terms of service and designing. I spend all my free time here just because the people are great and you get awesome information.

The Search field may give this particular thread, but there are loads that don't come up.

I've always found the search thing to be good, it's annoying that it only holds 4 results to a page but usually I can find whatever I'm looking for even if it's a thread from a year ago.

The stickied schedule is a great idea.

What do we mean by a "stickied schedule?":

(1) A single post in the Andy thread which can be updated by moderators as new info comes in? - probably better to have that as a page on britishtennis.net, no?

(2) A seperate section called "Andy's Schedule", which would be full of posts like this one, all stickied? In which case having them stickied would be pointless as they'd still be arranged in othe order they were last posted to, and may as well all be un- stickied.

I mean the first thing. I agree that it's better if we have it on the main site, but then how will we keep a track of which threads have been posted?

I'm imagining more idea 1) although it being online is a good idea.

The way I'm seeing it is a post in the Andy thread with all his upcoming tournaments and links to their threads and/or websites (I believe Drew did something similar towards the end of last year)

hmm - either an Andy's schedule section which ONLY has these threads (hopefully that way, a thread won't get more than a page away)

and/or we link to the thread from the table on the main site

- anyone want to volonteer to put the schedule together?

- can probably rip it off am.com and then add the links

I don't mind putting it together. In case anyone else wants to do it, feel free to rip it off AM.com as that was made by me.
