Note the skinned right knee, which I thought occurred in the same incident, i.e. he fell badly on his right side.
Anyway, it's irrelevant. Andy's fighting!
And the movement seems to have returned
Well for whatever reason I think we can agree he's totally banged up - and playing some great tennis. I worry a bit about him doing any more serious damage but I'm loving his spirit.
Hello everyone, I know I haven't been on here for a while, but after that break of serve, I felt as if I had to show my face again (metaphorically speaking), just to say FANTASTIC! I just hope he doesn't get broken straight back, 15-30...
Back to the tennis, it does look like Andy's running off the injury (at least for today). Great stuff just to hang in there, but he's doing so much more.
Come on Andy, I want nothing less than a complete mess-up of my chances in the prediction comp. I wish I could see this, he must be playing the match of his life!

I wonder how this match will affect Andy's future tactics. Before getting injured he seemed happy to mix it up and try and force Haas into the error. Since then he's obviously shortened the points and gone for a lot more shots. Not that there was any doubt - but it's emphasized that he can hit winners on a consistent basis when required. A penny for Haas' thoughts right now.
