Looking at the fall he had - he's quite fortunate he didn't break his ankle. Thank God he could switch his momentum quick enough. Fingers crossed though he doesn't do himself any long-term damage here. I'm sure he'd love to win, but he needs to look after himself.

One of the (very very few) advantages of being unable to watch the tennis, I can have my laptop perched on me knee with the scoreboard and watch the F1 on the telly over the top (go Hamilton!)

ad-Andy game. very glad to see him win the first two points back, that's positive I think. Hopefully the injury is sorted now but I maintain the wish he'd retire if it's threatening his Miami appearance. 3-0

0-15 good dropshot from haas and andy doesn't even attempt to get it, very unlike him 15-15 andy does a dropshot but haas gets to it but can't get the next volley in 30-15 another dropsot this time haas makes no attempt and it lands just in 30-30 andy hits backhand long 40-30 haas hits the net and yells out in anguish deuce andy does a bad dropshot and tommy takes control of the point ad-40 andy does well to stay in the point and tommy hitts it out when Andy broke a string. Tommy stands with hands on hips lookng bewildered. New raquet game, great passing shot from the back of the court, Haas had no chance
Andy won his service, but definitely isn't moving well. Hopefully it's just an injury which he can run off.
He's upped his game to compensate.
All depends. Sometimes a twist can be minor and despite initial pain, it goes away. Sometimes it's more serious and it needs absolute rest for a while.
(There speaks a man who once had to give up all sport for six months because I'd got to the stage that every time I broke into a run I'd twist my ankle)
