Looking at Rob's ranking thread, if Andy wins this one he'll overtake Ancic, and only be 90 points behind 10th placed Nalbandian. here's hoping Andy's 1st serve holds up ... of course Novak Djokovic has similar possibilities this week (30 points ahead of Andy).
i am sure i heard mention that it would be a late oen for us brits, i think the ornaginser have gone along with muppting andy matches on 1st or 2nd, but it the qf's now, probably have to look to their own audience etc. most of andy mathces the satdium hasn;t been over packed. i think murray must be a good crowd draw alogn with a rod and rafa.

I think this will be a fun match-up, but I just don't see Andy winning. Haas is in amazing form - he absolutely demolished Roddick at Memphis and you can just imagine what he would do to Andy's serve. Saying that though - Andy enjoys playing these guys and if he serves well and his game is on, he could cause some problems. I wouldn't say Andy has no chance of winning, but I think he would need to play his best match this year for it to happen. Andy said he practiced with Haas at Bolleteris so, hopefully he picked up a few pointers.
I'm going for Andy in 3 but I can easily see it go the other way - you're never quite sure how two guys who have never played will handle each others' games.
Somehow or another, I have never managed to see Haas play! I have heard he has a reputation for choking in big matches, but he didn't choke in Memphis. . .
I'll hope for Andy in 3! (but I'm not putting any money on it)
Im not sure who will win this either.... murray may hav too much variety in his game..but he will need to serve very well.... i go for andy in 3... seems to hav alot of momenum and confidence....
