Thompson gets a tough draw as he could have to play Papasidero:

I believe that Papasidero was hte one who knocked Cox out of the European Junior Championship last year.

Thompson lost to Papasidero by 61 61. Cox plays an Ecuadorian qualifier, Vivanco.

Evans has gone back home and hence Cox teams teams up with Rice.

Congrats to Rice on becoming the new British number two.

Thompson and Papasidero also won. Great to see him pick some points. Deserves it for all the hard work.

Rice lost to Romboli by 60 26 46.

Great effort!

Cox and Rice were leading their doubles match by 6-2 3-2 when their opponents retired.

Thompson and Papasidero beat the eighth seeds in straights. He deserves these points.

Their quarter final opponents will be decided today, so they will be tired for sure. Here's hoping for another shock win!

Unfotunately Thompson and Papasidero lost to Hamui and Roy by 4 and 2.

But.... Cox and Rice are through to the semifinals.

They beat Alvarado and Tamagnone by 75 61 and then had a good win against the second seeds Romboli and Gonzalez - 61 64.

Yeah!!! Cox and Rice got the title!

They beat fourth seeds Roy and Hamui by 62 63 and then beat third seeds Jebavy and Maytin by 67 63 62 in the finals.

This is a Grade A event - so this is really big.

We are getting so good at doubles!

Well done to Cox and Rice. Rice must be pretty near a Grand Slam seeding now?

New rankings:

Evans - 25 (no change).
Rice - 33 (+10).
Dyce - 44 (-2).
Cox - 46 (+8).
Thompson - 202 (+16).

Good to see Cox crack the top 50.
