Oh damn, Andy is broken on his first service

Roddick often comes out with all guns blazing but can't maintain the level, let's hope that is true tonight.

Andy only started playing when he was facing break points.

1st bp saved with ideal Murray rally, a bit of passive back and forth and then a powerful th bh to win it

2nd bp, a little less controled but good aggresion from Andy

Deuce, unforced error from Andy

Ad rod, v aggresive from Andy, lots of big hitting but Rod stayed in and Andy missed the line.

However, I'm confident that Andy will be able to break back and get back into this, he reads the Roddick serve so well, he'll surely have plenty of chances to get into the Roddick service games especially with the courts being slower than last week

Too easy for Roddick. Andy is missing and he is hitting some winners incl service. Andy hasn't got going yet.

Andy started quite slowly in San Jose last week, Roddick came out with all guns blazing while Andy looked pretty passive, managed to hang in there early on and save several bps before gradually upping his game. Hopefully similar happens this week.

Maybe he's intimidated by Roddick's energy as against most other opponents he starts fast

That is why I thought Andy would make a fast start today as he already knows the Roddick serve but he has been struggling with it so far.

Much better from Andy. Slight hicup at 40-0 where he missed going for a winner but he moved forward in the next point and hit a clean winner from a better angle
