Dan Evans did lose 6-3 6-2 to Rivera Aranguiz in the SF in Chile. Hopefully he is more used to the courts now and will be able to give him a tougher match.
Daniel Cox [63] beat Roman Jebavy [3] of the Czech Republic by 76 75. Daniel Evans [52] beat Guillermo Rivera-Aranguiz [13] of Chile by 67 64 62. David Rice [56] beat Rupesh Roy [28] of India by 06 60 61.
I was confident of him taking this one after last week's show, but what a weird scoreline for Ricey. But he won and that's what matters!
Another good comeback win for Evans. It's great to see him grind out a win against a top 20 player.
Brilliant is all that can be said of Cox's win. Jebavy is a clay courter and is physically much stronger than Dan. One of his best matches ever for sure.
Wow, what an amazing set of results. These three guys just get better and better!
