ATP San Jose 2007 R2 - Murray v Pless

Scheduled for "not before" 4pm local so midnight here in the UK.

These two have never met before. Kristian Pless is 26, current ranking 83, highest ever ranking 65 in Jan 02.  Should hopefully be another easy win for Andy

I should be around for this match, provided it does actually start at midnight. Good luck Andy, should be another straight forward win. I'm going for Andy in 2.

Evening all.

Can't see anything other than a straight sets win for Andy in this one

26 year old Pless is ranked 83 and has a career best of 65 back in 2002, he's spent  most of his career on the challenger circuit. Started 2007 with a 3 set win over Nalbandian in Chennai before losing to Karlovic. However, his results since haven't been that good. Lost to Vik in Sydney, Ferrer in Melbourne, Gulbis in rd2 of the Heilbronn challengers and Garcia-Lopez and Gabashvilli in Delray Beach. Last week he was beaten in straights by American qualifier Phillip Simmonds in rd1 of the Dallas 50K.

Renowned for a big serve and forehand and making some of the most peculiar grunting noises on the circuit.

In 2007 Pless made 4 challenger finals and beat Mackin and Bloomfield but lost in 3 sets to Marray in Stockholm
