I came across the article independently a few minutes ago & came on here with a view to posting the link, onlhy to fnd that you'd already done so a good few hours ago, Bob! I agree with you. The fact that Nazanin actually watched the 2016 final from her cell in Evin prison beggars belief - & says a lot about the pulling power of Wimbedon outside the UK!
Andy confirmed for Rotterdam in Feb. Suspect Andy is now prioritising getting his ranking up over Davis Cup and why not , given the team we have!
Whatever Andy would prefer to prioritise to my mind he doesn't make our best Davis Cup team anyway, whether on clay or hard. That best team is the one selected vs Colombia.

Agreed but I suspect he made it easier for Leon by not being available , Im guessing of course
Andy finished 2022 as GB#4. Some info on how he got there.
Andy made two finals in 2022, his first since 2019, but was unable to convert either to a title. It was enough however to get him a Top50 WR for the first time since 2018. ATP250 tournaments were where he found most success in the year, contributing almost 45% of his ranking points. Along with Jack, he played the fewest tournaments across the year (22). His DNS tournament was the French Open, meaning he ended the year with 3 zero pointers in his counting tournaments; only Jay finished the year with more.
Mike Dickson tweeting that this will Harriet Dart rather high and dry
Stu Fraser in yesterday's Times
"Murray started his 77 boutique agency in 2013, shortly after becoming the first British man to win a Wimbledon singles title in 77 years. Harriet Dart, Katie Swan, Aidan McHugh and Paul Jubb must now seek alternative representation, although the more successful 77 football division will remain in operation, with Watfords Ryan Porteous and Real Madrids Caroline Weir on the books."
Interview with Kim from the Style section of today's Sunday Times largely concerned with the revamp of Cromlix. While I agree with Andy that her taste in wallpaper is a "bit bizarre" (I really don't like dark colours, finding them as oppressive as rococo architecture, can't stand "fussy" furniture, am not carried away with the food on offer & would object to paying the prices charged for an overnight stay), I think some of the comments on the ToL web site in response to her claim that she's "never been interested in capitalising on [Andy's] profile" are cynical & unkind, to put it mildly!
