Seems Andy and Djoko have split - not a major surprise there, Id say. Interested to understand more on the whys and wherefore of that whole relationship.

Never really understood that partnership TBH.

Would love to know some of the behind the scenes details on how things disintegrated in recent weeks - maybe Andy will publish a tell-all autobiography at some point

Yeah, surprised it lasted this long, frankly

Delighted at the news!  biggrin  Some background in this article by Russell Fuller on the Beeb site.  I like the Medvedev quote:

"It's like Messi becoming the coach of Cristiano Ronaldo," was the Russian's view of the situation.

I'm pleased that he put it that way round, too.

It seems that NoDjo reckons that he couldn't have got any more out of his partnership with Andy.

Just been to Andys stage show organised as a chat with Andrew Cotter. Great fun and although most of the stories that he talked about have been covered in the press and probably on this forum, it was an entertaining event and very droll with both speaking in their very understated witty way.

As well as talking about his Wimbledon wins and the other successes, and indeed difficulties, it was good to see him talk about his happy family life with Kim and the children.

As a Christmas present from my wife, this was a nice evening ahead of Wimbledon.

An interesting interview with Andy from The Sunday Times which focuses on Andy's aspirations to become a scratch golfer with a view to getting into a regional qualifying event for the 2027 Open!  However, it  broadens out to include his thoughts on Alcaraz (& his golf), his brief tenure as NoDjo's coach, his farewell to Wimbledon last year & commentating (not just on tennis).

I have serious doubts about the writer's writing abilities (Tom Kershaw, a new name to me).  He needs to go back to school to learn that people don't as a rule find themselves "under delusions", "sum up depths" or "enamour (themselves)" to other people & as for "forging a chink of light" between others...  disbelief  That said, on the evidence of what I see regularly in print & on-line these days, I equally seriously doubt that the English language is now properly taught in schools.  no

So glad to see that Andy is getting on with life after retirement, and not gone into a depression like so many others. I wish him all the best with his golfing and sponsorship deals around it.
