My instinct is Andy needs someone who has experience in that back end of their career as an older player, perhaps managing their physical side. ...

great that he is going for it - I think Andy has a place in Dubai, wonder if the family can go out with him which would make it nice; if he still has his Miami place then he's got the States trip covered as well...

From The Tennis Podcast twitter account:
We understand that Andy Murray will have Dani Vallverdu with him in Rotterdam, and for a few weeks.

Vallverdu continues to work with Stan Wawrinka, who is building back to fitness.

Good , I like Dani and feel they did well together before it became stale. Theyre good friends as well and glad they get to work together again.

Im reading various folks having a go at Vallverdu. Rubbish. He was with Andy and Lendl for the first two slams Andy won, and the 2012 Olympics. Berdych reached number 4 under Danis guidance. Dimitrov won his first masters title in Cinci and then the Tour Finals at O2. Delpo was injured and Stan is injured but Dani has had significant success everywhere he has gone.

Good hire - hes still with Stan but this is a good temporary move by Andy

Meanwhile, Andy could've been a 17 GS champion had the big 3 not existed.

Good call by Andy to miss the clay season.

So it looks like Rotterdam, Doha, Dubai, IW , Miami and then Queens, Wimbledon !

Yes indeed - Id read reports that Sinner and Piatti had fallen out , although it was a surprise. Magnus is a good move , though

Not sure if it has been reported here but apparently Andy is on 699 career ATP wins.
