This tourney seems a bit cursed for our ladies...(if a MTO for Heather)

Hev is 4-3* - so maybe not her, or nothing serious

Heather loses 61 76(7).

She was pretty terrible

Had a set point in the TB at 6-5
Saved a MP at 6-7*
But not a second

Rough week for the majority of Brits here. Very rough week, indeed.

On the plus side she only has Luxembourg QF to worry about for the rest of the year. She is including 1 pointers in her ranking.

She's now lost 17 of her last 21 matches on the WTA and ITF circuit stretching back to early January, very alarming.

Well that's easy, she just has to play players with a ranking lower than 250. What was Li's ranking today? Oh 338, well make that players lower than...... then.

Sadly unless she gets better coaching, Naomi is in line to end this year as GB #8. As for Heather, I thought she would still be GB #4, but I'm getting less sure about this as her more miss than hit results continue. cry

Harriet withdrew. Katie S's win was against (LL) Eri Hozumi (JPN)

Oh for heaven's sake, it's a conspiracy now!

Katie Swan has given a walkover in her R16 match

They may have gone to the same restaurant or hung out together - so possible.
