It looks as if Gabi is retiring due to heat problems.

Two sun umbrella's for Gabi and Brengle's body language is showing signs of concern. Though she may just be wondering what is going on.

And suddenly we're back to just the one umbrella but even more people surrounding Gabi.

There is still a team of medics round Gabi so it doesn't look good.

Jeez. That's basically all our girls having had issues here.

29 degrees is very hot, but its not so insane I'd expect that to be the cause of issues for our players. But it would exacerbate another problem for sure.

I hope all the British players here can bounce back quickly from this tournament. Especially, with US Open qualies just around the corner.

They just cut the feed, but it seemed as though there were still crowds of personnel around Gabi on court.

Hoping for a swift and full recovery from whatever problem there is for Gabi and all our players.
What a terribly unfortunate event for our group that began with such promise.

Best wishes to all. I don't generally monitor social media, but if someone who does could post any reassurances that players may give, I'd be very grateful

Oh no, another retirement. Poor Gabi, always worrying when this happens. Heat + humidity is awful.

nothing on their twitter accounts (re: KS, Gabi, Harriet, EWS or KD). Naomi and Heather have been kayaking though: https://www.instagram.com/p/BmRAqFoBEx0/?utm_source=ig_twitter_share&igshid=1k6lzzi8hyf1e

Poor girl. Hospital for heatstroke/dehydration I guess?

That'll naturally be a walkover from Em and Gabi.
