Main draw entries for Harriet Dart, Manisha Foster, Gabby Taylor, Lucy Brown, Laura Deigman, Freya Christie, Fran Stephenson, Emily Arbuthnott, Jazzamay Drew and Jess Simpson made main draw.
Wildcards for Beth Askew, Aimee Gibson, Jasmine Aghar and Ema Lazic

Thus 14 in main draw and guaranteed 3 via qualifying and probably more. Should be some good points gained.

Well, at least the Brits went a perfect 3-0 against, the usually all too successful, pesky foreign raiders today.
Just a few all GB ties to finish up.

Hopefully this trend will continue when points are actually at stake this week.

I've only seen Grace play once and I thought she had a nice game - surprised she lost to 15 yr old Ellie-Rose.

 No, I'm not so surprised.  Grace does have a nice game but I've always seen young Ellie-Rose as a dark horse who might surprise everyone and come through.  She moves very well (better than Grace) and has very solid deep groundstrokes.  Like many young players, she doesn't always bring her best game to the match court and when things don't go well could sometimes do with being a bit more mentally solid but she is only 15 and these aspects will surely improve. Maybe it's the sound she makes when she hits the ball, but the way she plays reminds me a bit of Cibulkova.
