With the Skupskis' challenger title and Joss's ( with Laura ) WTA runner up, we have 3 doubles re-entrants to the top 100.

Ken up 16 to WR 89, Neal up 11 to WR 96, Joss up 25 to WR 99.

Heather's R1 doubles win in Beijing, partnering Sloane Stephens, gave her a healthy 120 points and moved her up 24 places to WR 92.

This week Heather drops 180 points from last year's doubles RU in Hong Kong with Naomi B so her doubles ranking falls 31 places to WR 123.

A big welcome to the doubles top 100 for the first time to Joe Salisbury, up 3 places to WR 99, following his Champaign Challenger runner-up spot.

Joss Rae drops out of the doubles top 100, down 8 places to WR 106, as last year's Bratislava 25K title drops out of her counters. I wonder what her plans are going forward.

Once again, many thanks for keeping this thread going Indy :)
When we were at 17 this time last year we were well on track for your original 20 by 2020 but the tide has ebbed somewhat this year :(

Inevitably, with last year's Columbus Challenger 90 title points ( with David O'Hare ) dropping out of his ranking points quota, Joe Salisbury has for now dropped back out of the top 100 just a week after getting to that CH 99. He is down 8 to WR 107. But at least he has ticked that box before this year end and hopefully can make further progress in 2018.

The first change for a while was on 28/05 when Cam Norrie rose 17 places from WR 102 into the top 100 at WR 85. And is now at 11/06 up further to WR 79.

13 at 28.05.18 ( 3 MS, 5 MD, 2 WS, 3 WD )

Then in the post French Open 11/06 rankings Andy drops his 720 French Open points so plummets 110 places from WR 47 to WR 157 ( now just his 360 Wimbledon points remain ). At the same time Luke Bambridge and Jonny O'Mara's Surbiton 100K doubles title points have them rise into the top 100 for the first time. Luke is up 11 places to WR 91 and Jonny up 19 places to WR 96.

Although not an extremist in the Jaggy abolition of doubles view, I do find the tittle of this thread misleading and a frustration. It sucks in the naive and the perpetually optimistic, of which I am one. The result is always crushing disappointment that we dont have another top 100 singles player I have just missed!

It isnt really what it says on the tin which would be Combined top 100: Singles and Doubles

I mean should we really not just go the whole hog and add mixed doubles ranking as well?
