Girls: Nicolas Machivello Copa Graiman - ITF Grade 2 - 2007.

Tara returns at last. This tournament starts on the 22nd and the field is really dumb.

Grade 2... Meh.
Hopefully there will be a few withdrawals and then Tara will just storm through a few rounds with negligible effort.

Tara had a first round bye as they couldn't get anyone to fill up the draw.

She plays Carla Lucero [480] in round two.

Doubles:

Inspite of being the most talented player out there, she decided to partner someone ranked outside the top 700.
But her partner has played with both her and Heather Watson before, so she must be some friend from her academy. They won their first round match 1 and 1.

She won 62 76.

But she lost her doubles match.

Tara beat Petra Santini of Croatia, who is ranked 257, by 67 64 75.

Not a very convincing win, but what really matters is that she got the points!

So she's in the quarterfinals and is the lowest seed left in the tournament...

...I wonder if that means...

At last...

Quarters:

Tara Moore [202] beat Linda Abu Mushraf [289] by 75 62.

Semis:

Tara Moore [202] lost to Mariana Duque-Marino [179] by 61 60.

Duque-Marino is terribly underranked as this is just her third event in twelve months. She won a Grade 1 event the week before and is ranked around 360 in women's. The result is hardly a shock but the scoreline is a bit disappointing.

Tara will be ranked inside the top 150 now.
