This tournament will be a big test for Boggo - he has 50 points to defend, the field is really strong, and the worst thing of it all - Sluiter will be there.
You can tell it's been a busy week - this thread had dropped to p4 on the recent posts list!
The main draw is out:
R1: Alex Bogdanovic WR 121 v Denis Istomin (UZB) WR 200
Given that Alex is unseeded, his R1 draw is not too bad, but (3) Bjorn Phau (GER) WR 82 is the first seed Alex could meet and he is in the same half as (1) Simon Greul (GER) WR 80. It strikes me that it is going to be harder to get a given number of points from here than from Wrexham.

I agree, although I think it will be much more rewarding, and better if he does get the points here rather than from Wrexham. Just hope he does! I'll get the pins out.

Yep, it was Aachen. We watched Jamie Murray play with Jordan Kerr too!
Those were the days!
I for one am glad Boggo is here. Last years points have gone already (in terms of the AM messageboard rankings thread) so all he is doing is raising his expectations and opportunities from a higher base level than last year!
not today, the site has been really slow, but it was working yesterday, althouj jut the text box versions not the flash one. I guess alex will be on in about 40 mins.
