phew, looks like typical brit fashion al is making hard work of it, i have a feeling thsi one could be tight, lucly al srated so well. rainer seems much more comfotbale now, mnaye took him a while to adjust.

Alex has had really great starts in lots of his matches this year eg the one v Delic in Sydney, was 3-0 up in that one and had pts for 4-0. However, then the opponents start coming back and it becomes a lot closer.
As you say Count, maybe it takes a while for them to adjust to his style. Having watched several Boggo matches last autumn I don't think that he is aggressive enough at times. He can hit huge shots off the forehand and backhand but doesn't always use those enough in matches, he tends to get stuck to the baseline and get drawn into long rallies. Some of his best periods of play eg: 2nd set v Henman in Bangkok and the 3rd set breaker against Cilic in Aachen, came when he really stepped up the court and started hammering his forehand into the corners. Henman was just overwhelmed for periods in their match
