Pavlyuchenkova holds for 6-5*. All the pressure on Katie here, serving to stay in the set once more.

6-6. Tie break time. I have no idea who's going to win this one. Pavlyuchenkova has won 35 points in this match, 23 of which have been from unforced errors by Katie! Pavly has only hit 9 winners so maybe if Katie cuts out the errors she should win this one.

2-3* Double fault from Pavly, Katie has both mini breaks back
*3-3 at change of ends

Katie loses the set 7-6 (7-5) and ends the set with 29 unforced errors, so 6 of the 7 points she lost in the breaker were unforced errors.

That's enough for me now, just watched the girls lose 3 sets on the trot between em, very tiring
Hope Katie can come back, but I'm off to bed.

Unfortunately, things just went downhill from there.
Recap:
QR2: Anne Keothavong WR 143 lost to Alize Cornet (FRA) WR 195 by 6-3 6-2
QR2: Katie O'Brien WR 187 lost to Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova (RUS) WR 376 by 7-6(5) 6-2
Obviously these matches were always going to be harder than the rankings suggested, but I had high hopes that we'd get at least one through, so two straight sets defeats is very disappointing.
