Hello Arka, maybe you can tell us some more about the young French girl Cornet that Anne is due to play next. She beat number 1 seed Bondarenko.

She was good enough to win a round at the French Open at the age of 15, and that says it all. She has managed to reach the finals of three 25Ks in her last six attempts and has wins over quite a few top 100 opponents. She is under ranked in Juniors because she doesn't play much, but she won a Grade A title in Brazil last year.
Doubt that she is going to be a major force off the dirt and other slow surfaces. Or at least her record says that ....
Cornet has an ordinary record on Rebound Ace, and this year's faster surfaces can only cause her disadvantage. Jamatthews, do you reckon that it'll be easier for Anne against her than against Bondarenko?
I haven't seen her play, but I imagine it will be more in Anne's hands against Cornet. She only made 6 unforced errors in the 3rd set and less winners so she'll probably make Anne hit as many balls as possible. If Anne hasn't let the Shona choke affect her confidence then I think she'll win it, but then I really didn't expect Cornet to do so well against Bondarenko.
Ahh... that's good news. The other seed in Anne's part has been upset, and none of the other players seem very special. I reckon that Anne has a great chance of qualifying.
Excellent fightback from Katie in this set !! After taking the 2nd set 6-2, she played a sloppy game at the start of the 3rd and got broken. She was 2-0 down and Chen had 2bps on her serve but Katie fought back, saved them and it's now 3-4
Aaargh whoever said GB girls were mentally fragile - misseda MP then gets broken next game. Chen now serving for the match. Hope Katie can break back and make me eat my words ...
