As the table shows, Andy is under threat from two people this week(Nieminen cannot overtake as he is defending 175points).
So, pins into Gasquet and Ferrer. The former will overtake if he wins in Sydney, the latter if he reaches the semis (he would be level on points but ahead as he has more mandatory points than Andy).
Best case: 15 (nc) Worst case: 17 (-2)

....also (as per the Tim thread) Tursunov has withdrawn from Sydney Hope it's not too serious - just enough to mess him up should he meet Andy at the AO.
However, looking ahead to the Aussie, I'm fairly sure that Andy will stay ahead of Baghdatis once his 700 points drop off (can't see him reaching the semis this year, could be wrong he does perform best in GSs).
However, as far as gaining places goes it's going to be tricky from there on in. We've basically got to hope that Djokovic, Haas and Berdych all go out early(ie round 1 or 2) and Andy reaches at least the fourth round. Even then he may not make up any places.
A semi or final place on the other hand....well, they could see him either in the top 10 or right on the cusp of it. Go Andy!!
