Another player unimpressed with Bates.

Aiming for the top 100 this year after a fitness regime in December!

Go Bloomers!

Nice read from someone I like a lot.

Top 100 this year will be really tough (obvious). It'll be interesting to see what he does next year since he will be seeded at Challengers every now and then. He was getting to the odd quarters and semis and that can only increase with him getting seeded.

I think that he'll get a title this year.
He has a good chance of taking one of the post Wimbly grass Challengers, but knowing his love for North America, it's unlikely that he will stay.

He is pretty much guaranteed a WC at Wimbly and is sure of getting one at at least one of the two grass Tour events, so hopefully he will draw a claycourter or two.

"He said I was quite a quiet person and he wasn’t sure how I’d be in a team situation."

Now that is just rubbish from Bates.
Since when was tennis a team sport? It's not like all five members play together in DC. You don't need to complement each other. As long as you mind your own business your team can do well.
Okay... a bit of bonding is required for doubles; but Bloomers will never get picked for doubles.
