So Aucks falls to British number 10 and is only just hanging on inside the top 500. Does everyone think it would be fair to say he is finished with singles now?

Aucks all bar the shouting is finished with singles....his money / future is in doubes. i Think if he had been 5 yrs younger with all the new coaching / NEW lta centre and the Murray factor he would be an improving singles player but time is not on his side now.

First post updated to 16 July.

Andy and Boggo drop, the rest of the top 10 drift slightly up.

Miles Kasiri keeps climbing: New Career high again this week!

Morgan's injury finally takes its toll on his ranking: down 33
Myles Blake takes a further tumble to 889 - hopefully last week's Iranian point comes in handy, and he can add some more this week.

Is there a reason why this has become such a sad topic?

Thanks for keeping this up Rob, I should be able to help you out again now. smile.gif

new rankings out show only 5 players in top 300... and with henman retiring that will mean only 4 active players in top 300!

am sure only a couple of years ago there were approximately 10!! need some young guns to start making a move up the rankings quickly!!

Neil Harman in the Times says we had 11 in the top 300 in 2005 and he's probably right.

I know for sure that in late October 2005, we had 21 players in the top 500. We're now down to 9, three of whom have retired. cry
