Well....a Blake autograph is priceless but I guess that if you offer to pay her uni fees that may alleviate matters for a couple of days

Your only hope now, is to get another one

Mackin needs just another withdrawal for an entry into Wrexham or Durban. Goodall will be seeded here.

Mackin will be at Wrexham if he wants to be, no problem, Jonny is w/d'ing anyway and bet there will be others, but if not he'd get a Wc if he wanted one.

Jonny Marray has pulled out, so has Alan Mackin who is playing durban, looking pretty crap from a UK point of view, Ive heard Josh isnt it great shape, and Bloomers wasnt in great form in Oz, no-one really putting their hand up for a Wc, who do you think will get them now?

It's a shame that Jonny had to withdraw. This was a great chance.

Wild cards are too hard to predict out here. I'll go for -

Miles Kasiri.
Alex Slabinsky.
Tom Rushby.
Some Junior player....

James Auckland is an option, too.

So we presume he will make into Wrexham ?

He withdrew from the Wrexham alt list too. (he would have got into either Durban or Wrexham had he not withdrawn)

Qualifying draw

QR1: Neil Bamford WR 702 v (q1) Jean-Francois Bachelot WR 319
QR1: Ross Hutchins WR 703 v (WC) Richard Irwin WR 971 - winner to play winner of the match above
QR1: (WC) David Brewer WR 929 v (WC) Matthew Illingworth WR 1541 - winner probably to play (q7) Bubka WR 371
QR1: (WC) Simon Childs WR 1541 v (q2) Marco Crugnola (ITA) WR 321
QR1: Tom Rushby WR 673 v Josselin Ouanna (FRA) WR 617 - winner to play winner of the match above
QR1: Ian Flanagan WR 658 v (q4) Michael Ryderstedt WR 343
QR1: (WC) Alex Miotto WR 923 v (WC) Edward Allinson WR 1541 - winner to play winner of the match above

We were never likely to get a qualifier, but this draw should ensure that no Brit survives the first two qualifying rounds on Sunday.

R1: Josh Goodall WR 205 v TBA
R1: Richard Bloomfield WR 218 v TBA
+ 4 WCs

Just two DAs? Well, Boggo has gone to the more lucrative Challenger in Germany instead of trying to defend his title, Jonny Marray has a shoulder injury and Alan Mackin seems to have withdraw from Wrexham and Durban, despite being so high on the Alt list that he would have got into either tournament's main draw.

Wallace from the Greg Rusedski board is umpiring at Wrexham today, where apparently there are 24 matches to be played on just three courts! He says:

Hutchins beat Irwin 7-6 6-2
Bamford leads (q1) Bachelot 5-2 in the third set.

It would be great if Bammy could win - we might even have a chance of a qualifier if he did.

Bamford, Hutchins, Flanagan and Allinson made the 2nd qual Rd, I'll phone for R2 scores in a minute.

Apparently MD WC's gone to Smith, EAton and Ed Corrie, not sure about the other (Poss Kennaugh), not Slabinsky.
