Mackin about to serve to stay in the match at 36 64 45 down, Aucks a minibreak down in the third set tiebreak...the next 10mins could be bad news for British tennis, hopefully not though...

15-0
second serve...15-15 (28%)
15-30 (Aucks saves the first of 4 match points)
15-40, Mackin faces two match points.
(Aucks saves the second match point)
30-40, Mackin saves the first match point

GSM Jenkins. It was soo close. I'm pretty sure that second serve points won stat is what killed it for Mackin, 28% is simply not good enough to win matches in ATP qualies.

Darn, as I typed, Aucks loses as well. Not a good few minutes there. In fact, terrible.

Aucks saved 7 mathc points and missed one of his own. So close.

Mackin played pretty poorly I think

I've heard of sychronised swimming, but here's a new gold medal sport for the Brits - SYNCHRONISED LOSING

Seriously, what a nightmare - it strikes me that Alan should have won easily, and for Aucks to capitulate in the tiebreak after all that effort - very sad

Does anyone know who, if anyone, Aucks has teamed up with for the dubs tournament here?

Staying with Huss. I wonder if that's a long term thing!

Delic/Kendrick will be a tough match in Delray

Boggo gets a chance to avenge Mackin as he gets qualifier Scovile Jenkins in elimination round...

on the surface it looks best, all the other guys won both their q's in straight sets, sco needed 3 both times.

lets hope alex can make his 1st RR.

Good look Alex , pleased he avoided Stakhovsky as he was the only one out of the qualifers that i think could have really posed a threat.
